Mervue Equine Leinster Summer Tour Final 2024

Harry Wood Clinches Overall League Win in Mervue Equine Leinster Summer Tour Final 2024

The 2024 Mervue Equine Leinster Summer Tour concluded in style at Mullingar Equestrian Centre on Friday, 9th August, with a thrilling 1.35m final that saw Sven Hadley and Phenomene Bleu VDM take top honours for the 1.35m.

Hot on his heels was rising star Harry Wood aboard BP Rocket Man, who secured second place in the final but did enough over the league to be crowned the overall league winner alongside BP Lion Man — a testament to his consistency and form throughout the summer.

In the individual categories, Jack Murphy was named Leading Young Rider, continuing to impress with his strong performances across multiple rounds. The Pro-Am title went to Kerrie Curtis, recognising her dedication and competitive spirit in this fast-growing division.

Now firmly established as a highlight of the showjumping calendar, the Mervue Equine Leinster Summer Tour continues to deliver high-quality sport, exceptional talent, and valuable opportunities for riders at all levels. Mervue Equine’s continued sponsorship and support of the league has played a vital role in fostering Ireland’s equestrian stars of the future.

A sincere thank you to all the competitors who participated in the Mervue Equine Leinster Summer League 2024 throughout the summer — your commitment and passion made each leg of the tour a success.
