Success for Joseph Murphy at Badminton

Congratulations to Irish Olympian and Mervue sponsored Joseph Murphy with Sportsfield Othello who had a fantastic Badminton 2018, finishing in 13^th place overall.

Joseph Murphy is one of Ireland’s leading riders and has been a member of the Irish team for six major championships.

Following Badminton Joseph said he was really pleased with how the horse felt and jumped at Badminton.  Joseph was delighted with how the weekend went overall.  He said Sportsfield Othello performed amazingly well especially on the cross country day.

Murphy and Sportsfield Othello were also awarded the Glentrool Trophy, as the horse and rider who made the greatest improvement on their dressage placing.
