Mervue Equine at the 2026 Dublin Horse Show: A Week to Remember

The 2026 running of the Dublin Horse Show certainly lived up to expectations and it was a week to remember for team Mervue Equine.

For the third successive year we were the proud sponsors of the Mervue Equine Broodmare Futurity Class.

A field of 8 mares & fillies performing at the highest level of their sport, and boasting exceptional pedigrees, took to Ring One on Sunday 9th August at the 2026 Dublin Horse Show for the Mervue Equine Broodmare Futurity class.

Massive congratulations to Harry Woods and Boleybawn Alexa who took home the red rosette 🏆

Reserve Champion was awarded to Sean Stafford’s Ballyv Rosie.

Congratulations to everyone who took part in this fantastic class — a real showcase of the quality, talent and future of the sport. 👏🐴

Our involvement at the Dublin Horse Show extended beyond the arena, with Mervue Equine featuring prominently with a stand on Simmonscourt avenue.

The stand provided a wonderful opportunity to meet many of our existing customers who provided such incredible feedback and stories on their success with the range. We were equally thrilled to welcome new customers to the stand also and detail the variety of products on offer. One common theme throughout the week between Mervue and its customers, we have a shared love of horses.

That passion is at the heart of everything we do at Mervue Equine, and being surrounded by so many people who share the same commitment and enthusiasm made the week particularly special.

The 2026 show was particularly special because it marked the 100th running of the Nations’ Cup of Ireland for the Aga Khan Trophy, alongside the new €1 million Rolex Grand Prix of Ireland and the opening of the new Laya Arena. Allowing for plenty of memorable moments between riders and their horses.
